Lessons

Lessons are available to individuals 5 years old and up. Must be able to follow basic directions. Willow Barre Farms owned Lesson Horses are available for lessons. Book in advance to ensure availability. A copy of current negative Coggins Report is required for every horse before unloading on the property; NO EXCEPTIONS. Client is responsible for booking an 3rd party arenas. Fuel fees are calculated by round trip mileage. Any lessons taking place at the Yalobusha County Multipurpose Arena will not incur a fuel fee. All other off property lessons will incur a fuel fee. Pricing for On Property and Off Property lessons show the max price for lessons. “YCMPA” lessons reflect the minimum price.

Training

 Training days must be booked consecutively. One lesson per week is included in the training fee (not applicable for Loyalty Card punches). See “Standard training Contract” for additional information.

15 day training tune ups…..$200

30 day training………………..$400

60 day training……………....$750

Colt Starting: Fillies and colts 2 years and under. 30 day minimum. This does not included backing

Green Starting: Horses and mules 3 years or older. 30 day minimum. Includes ground starting and saddle starting.

Problem Horses: Horses 3 years or older. 30 day minimum, but could be extended based on trainer recommendations.

Farrier Fee (trim)………...$40

Specials

  • Loyalty Punch Card

Keeping up with Willow Barre Farms business cards will allow for discounts. Every lesson will consists of one (1) punch in the business card. After 4 punches the client will receive a 10% discount on their 5th lesson.

  • Bulk Lesson Pricing Special

$160 for four lessons + the 5th lesson free. Lessons must be scheduled and paid for in advance.

  • Military and First-Responder Discounts

Clients able to provide a current Military ID or proof of First-Responder status of any branch will be allotted an additional 40% discount on their Loyalty Punch Card. (A total of 50% on their 5th lesson when using the Loyalty Punch Card.)

  • Referral Discounts

For every new client referral that is booked and completed, clients will receive a 5% discount on their next lesson.
